Apex Motion Performance

Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-approvedLast updated August 10, 2026

1. What Apex Motion is

Apex Motion Performance is software for youth and amateur athlete development. Coaches and program staff use it to record training and testing results, store video, track workload, run movement screens, and plan an athlete's development. Athletes and, where a program allows it, their parents can view that athlete's own information.

We provide the software. We do not coach, train, evaluate, or supervise anyone. Every training decision is made by your program.

2. Accounts belong to programs, not to individuals

Apex Motion is sold to organizations — a team, club, academy, or training facility. Your account exists inside that organization's workspace, and the organization controls it. That means the coaches and administrators of your program can:

  • see the athlete data stored in their workspace, including yours;
  • add, change, or correct records about an athlete;
  • change what your account can do, or turn it off;
  • delete an account and the records attached to it.

If you disagree with something in your records, or you want your account closed, start with your program administrator. They hold the controls.

3. Who can have an account

Minors are the point of this platform, so accounts for young athletes are expected — but they are created through a program, not by the athlete on their own.

  • Under 13: a parent or legal guardian must give verifiable consent, collected by the program, before the account is created. A child under 13 cannot sign themselves up. See the Privacy Policy for how that consent works and how to withdraw it.
  • 13 to 17: an account is created through the program. We expect the program to have the parent or guardian permissions its own policies require.
  • 18 and over: you can hold your own account, still inside your program's workspace.

4. Signing in

You sign in with an email address and password, or with a Google account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider; we never see your Google password. Keep your password to yourself, and tell your program administrator if you think someone else has gotten into your account.

5. How you may use the platform

Use it for athlete development, and not for anything else. Do not:

  • try to reach data belonging to another program or another athlete;
  • share your login, or use someone else's;
  • upload video or notes about a person who has not agreed to be recorded by your program;
  • copy athlete data out of the platform for a purpose your program has not approved;
  • probe, scan, or attempt to break the service or its security.

6. Content you add

Video, notes, measurements, and files you upload stay yours (or your program's — that is between you and your program). You give us permission to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of running the service for your program: hosting the video so a coach can play it, computing metrics, generating reports, backing it up. Nothing more. We do not use your content to advertise, and we do not sell it.

7. This is not medical advice

Apex Motion stores movement-screening results, injury and availability status, and other health-adjacent notes because coaches need them to train athletes safely. None of that is a medical diagnosis, and the software does not practice medicine. Readiness scores, screening flags, and workload warnings are training tools, not clinical findings.

For an injury, a symptom, or any question about an athlete's health, talk to a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call emergency services.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform up and correct, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, or that every number it shows is free of error. Features change; some are added and some are retired. If a change would materially affect how your program uses the platform, we will tell the program administrator.

Data you import from third-party systems (ball-tracking, force plates, spreadsheets) is only as good as the file it came from. We do not verify it.

9. Payment

Programs pay for the platform under a separate agreement with us; invoices are handled directly. Individual athletes and parents are not charged.

10. Ending access, and deletion

A program administrator can turn off or delete any account in their workspace at any time. If a program stops using Apex Motion, its workspace is closed and its data is removed on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

If you want your data corrected or deleted, contact your program administrator. Requests are processed within 30 days. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it, and backups roll off on their own cycle.

We can suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, or that puts other people's data at risk.

11. Disclaimers and limits

The platform is provided as it is. We do not guarantee any particular athletic result, and we are not responsible for training decisions made using it — those belong to your coaches. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount your program paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes to these terms

When these terms change in a way that matters, we update the version at the top of this page and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. The current version is 2026-08-approved.

14. Contact
